I’m working with a lot of color in my Steampunk Jewelry, maybe it’s the first hints of Spring and perhaps the last of Winters drear, a reappearance of crisp blue skies – or maybe I just like Swarovski crystals! I hope you do too!
This Steampunk Ring is designed from a Vintage Swiss Ruby Jeweled Watch Movement set with two soft, rose-pink Swarovski Crystals.
I love Vintage watch movements, each one is completely unique and quite often I leave them plain to show off the artistry of their makers, but sometimes the odd crystal here and there can enhance their unique beauty!
If you want to see more of these Steampunk treasures, you can view them at London Particulars!
This is one of my latest Steampunk Jewelry Rings and I love this piece and wish I didn’t have to sell it!
The top of the ring actually spins and turns the tiny gold and silver gears at the top of the piece.
I describe it as Kinetic Steampunk!
The actual Watch Movement is formed from a Vintage Seventeen Ruby-Jewelled piece mounted upon an antiqued Brass Ring which is also adjustable and is fashioned from a vintage tooling.
If you’re interested in purchasing this Steampunk Ring then please note it’s appropriate for sizes six to eight and a half but I am always happy to make any adjustments required – just let me know!

True Photography of Seattle contacted me a few weeks back in regards to a Steampunk photo shoot for Seattle Fashion Magazine Imposter; they wanted to feature my Steampunk Jewelry in their upcoming article…so I jumped at the chance!
Hauling my collection downtown to the photo studio was a little intimidating at first but the whole experience was amazing, all involved were so professional and they really made me feel comfortable and welcome!
The article was just published and it is gorgeous, the jewelry is modelled by the sultry and steamy Bad Charlotte of Model Mayhem. She really liked the Steampunk Jewelry which was chosen for the shoot and the results are simply amazing!
Sometimes, simplicity can work better than any amount of embellishments!
I was thinking of adding some crystals or a Stamping to this Steampunk Jewelry Necklace but I love the Watch Movement on its own!
So I simply added Silver Finished Cable Chain and then created a very brief fictional history to accompany the Pendant and should you wish to hear about Lady Cruzzletwist “The Demon Bore of Mayfair” head over to London Particulars for more…
Here is a new Steampunk Jewelry creation… I hope it won’t affect your delicate sensibilities…
Do not be alarmed! The tentacled behemoth on this Steampunk Necklace has been neutralised by a Witch and will never quake or slither again. Wear this necklace in complete safety – a ward against those that must not be named beneath the waves, the old ones…
If you would like to know how a Puddle was traded for Watch Movements to create this Steampunk Jewelry then see the story below…
These wonderful Steampunk Cufflinks have a stranger history than most!
The watch parts themselves were made by a very odd gentleman.
He turned up at my shoppe one miserable grey, sopping wet October afternoon and presented me with his jewelry, cogs and watch movements – I’d never seen such splendour before!
“How much for these fine pieces?” I asked and the strange man said nothing. Instead he pointed at a puddle in the yard outside my window.
“You want a puddle?” I asked. He nodded and thanking my good fortune, I at once accepted his peculiar request.
Off he went, and picked up the puddle from the yard as if it were nothing more than a plate and sloped off and was soon lost in the rain.
Its only now, that I wonder what the value of the puddle could be, and the strange, deep black space left behind in my yard causes me the most sleepless of nights.
So buy these exquisite cufflinks now while you can, for I wonder if the hole where the puddle lay might not grow and take myself and my Shoppe away with it.
I was so happy to reach my 200th Sale this weekend! Thank you to everyone who has supported London Particulars!
I truly expected sales to slow as it seemed that Steampunk Jewelry and the whole Neo-Victorian genre hit a passing fad with the mainstream, but it seems more popular than ever, which is just so exciting!
For me, Steampunk is such a fascinating artform that it would be a real shame if people lost interest but the great news is that it seems to be soaring to greater heights!
So here’s to another year of innovation, style and Neo-Victorian quirkiness and of course, Steampunk Jewelry!
